When the Haltmann Works Co. invaded Pop Star, Meta Knight tried to fend them off with the Halberd!
The Haltmann Mothership, Access Ark, shot a laser at the Ship's left wing, sending it plummeting to the ground!
Meta Knight locked down the Halberd and went to survey the damage, when he was captured by Susie Haltmann.
He was mechanized and turned into a robot.
When Kirby managed to reach the Haltmann Works executive offices at the top of the Access Ark, Susie sicced Mecha Knight at Kirby!
Kirby managed to defeat the robot. At the last second, Meta Knight's mask shattered, freeing him from Susie's control!
He promptly left, to rally the Halberd Crew!
